OLD BUSINESS

  1. Spaghetti Supper: Our next Town Hall meeting will convene on November 4th, 2010.
  2.

  3. Thermostats: Timers were installed on both thermostats in the Parish Hall and will automatically turn off after 6 hours if left on.
  4.

  5. Stained Glass Windows: Going well and Celia hopes to have them ready by Easter of 2011. Celia will be contacted to assure each donor approves their sketches before being sent to the Bishop.
  6.

  7. Picnic: It did not have a great Anglo turn out but went well. There were very few casseroles. And we ran out of Hamburgers but had plenty of chicken left over which Mary Walsh will price and sell to parishioners. Next year consider having more hamburgers and hotdogs and possibly no chicken at all.
  8.

  9. Honda's Transmission: Father had the work done and St. John Vianney paid ½ of the expense. IC paid $700 and Father paid the remaining balance.
  10.

  11. Calendars: Father Submitted all paper work to the Catholic extension Services and we should be getting it before too long. He will call Bobby Cobb to see if he is still willing to cover the expense which is $650-700.
  12.

  13. Church Carpet Cleaning: Lee Willis will meet with Stanley Steemer to start the cleaning of the Pews and floors which have much gum and candle wax ground into the fibers. The cost is $1201.03. Father is going to designate a second collection for this expense and talk about the use of gum at Mass.

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Bake Sale: The information sheets will be passed out. We will lower the price of cakes this year because we had so many left over in the past few years. Mary will call Andrew about repainting part of the sign.
  2.

  3. Ladies Guild: Mary reported that they visited a nursing home. 26 ladies have paid their dues of $10 to date. $26 was spent on food and a few coats were given to Serenity House. Several ladies gave Irene McGraw a birthday party.
  4.

  5. Financial Report: Rich Fetterman gave his report and it was approved.
  6.

  7. Finance Committee: We discussed the need to get this started. Father stated that he needed about 2-3 men and will start contacting parishioners. Rich needs to be part of this group as Treasurer.

Having no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:35. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, Nov.18th, 2010 at 7pm. Father Eric closed with prayer.
