PrintThe Parish Council Meeting was called to order by Father Eric Filmer on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Eric opened the meeting with the Holy Spirit prayer. Minutes were reviewed for corrections and were approved.
ATTENDANCE: Mike Fuches, Andrew Ericksen, Father Eric Filmer, Richard Fetterman, and Mary Walsh.
OLD BUSINESS
- The priest from Haiti replied to Father Eric inquiring how we wanted them to use the $650 that the Parish sent.
- Lee Willis and Mary Ann Grose have volunteered to fill the vacant Council positions. Troy Apodaco has been removed from the Council.
- A meeting on the stained glass windows is scheduled for May 20th.
NEW BUSINESS
- Received an estimate of $3,100 to paint inside the church. Andrew Ericksen stated Mary Ann Grose suggested the painter who is painting her house.
- Ladies Guild to date has not met this month. On April 28th, there was a "Girls Night Out for a Movie" at Mary Walsh's house. Had a reception for the First Communicants. Organized a reception for the Bishop on Tuesday, May 11th. Purchased gifts (crosses) for the three graduates in the Parish. Will be organizing the luncheon for the student nurses to be held on June 24th.
- A financial report for April, 2010 was given. Checking Account balance at the end of April was $9,018; Savings Account was $5398; Total Revenue was $11,164.28; Total Expenses was $13,991.17; Net Income: -$2,826.89.
Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned around 8:30 p.m. Next meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Eric closed the meeting with a prayer.
