  1. In the St. Teresa of Avila Shrine at the Duffy Parish Center, the First Class Relic of St. Teresa of Avila is now encased in a container that is screwed to the table for security purposes. Also the statue that was ordered has been received.

The Huguet’s still want to do a few more things such as installation and painting, etc. to the Shrine.

The Dedication of the St. Teresa of Avila Shrine on July 15th went very well. Had very good attendance. The Dedication was published in the Southern Cross on the last page.
  2.

  3. Stained Windows for Church: On July 28th, Fr. Eric, Andrew Ericksen, and Mark Russell made a trip to the A.T.G. Studio in Forsyth, Georgia to meet with Celia Heningman to look at her work. They were very pleased with drawings that she presented. They were able to view her lettering and work at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Macon. She did state that she goes to the place where she works to pray for her spiritual undertaking. She will do drawings then take photos of each for the committee to review. Also, we will need the Bishop’s approval. Fr. Eric told Ms. Heningman there would be no timeframe as we want her to do a good job and not rush her. Each window will cost $4,000 each, which includes moving and installing windows.

Father Eric will be gathering all the Saints in order for the donators to know what saint they want for their window. Committee will meet for final approval. Sandy Ghelarducci will call a committee meeting to update members of windows.

In the St. Patrick’s stained window currently in Church, a 4”x8” section of the window was broken and never repaired. Green panels were replaced until we could have it repaired. Ms. Heningman said she would do repair.
